Deer Park WyldLife & Upper Kittitas County YL - Prayer Requests

We recently had the pleasure of meeting with the parents and community members of Deer Park, WA. (Deer Park is North of Spokane) After lots of prayer and discernment, we have 3 committed leaders that are about to be trained in leading WyldLife! Once we get to 4-5 trained leaders, and a WyldLife Support Team in place, we will begin CLUBS in the area. The hope is that once WyldLife catches on, we can move into building High School Young Life. The team is very hopeful they will be able to send kids to camp this summer!

In addition, this past week we met with the start-up committee of Upper Kittitas County in Cle Elum, WA. This is one of the most Christ centered group of adults we have ever met. They meet to pray every Wednesday on Zoom! We got them there own Area Number (WA438), Email: UpperKCYoungLife@gmail.com AND Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/upperkittitasyounglife/ Soon their website will be up and running! They also have 3 committed leaders ready to be trained. This team is also hopeful to send kids to camp this summer. If you know anyone in Cle Elum, let them know that Young Life is on it's way. We all made long lists of potential leaders in each community. For 2 weeks they will be praying over these names and plan to make big asks after that!

JOIN US in praying for WyldLife leaders in Deer Park and Young Life Leaders in Cle Elum at 9:38AM and/or 9:38PM every day for 2 weeks. Pray that God would move in the hearts of these people to serve the teens of these areas. Thank you for praying as we see God move before our eyes!

Bonus: For funzies, below we posted photos of our meeting locations. First, The Shepherds Cottage in Deer Park, WA. This house was build in 1900 and restored by Christs Church of Deer Park and now serves as a local meeting place for couceling or ministry - Thank you Christs Church! In total contrast, Upper Kittitas County has been meeting at Gravirty Coffee Co. in CleElum, WA. They took over the old Burger King and made it fancy with fireplaces and flatscreens - Thank you Gravity Coffee for hosting all of our meetings! (for sure give them a try on your next stop over)
